Grand Canyon West Drive, Fly, Float
Push boundaries with this exclusive excursion. We’ll take you over the edge of the Grand Canyon for limitless views by land, air and water. You won’t find a tour of this caliber anywhere else.
Your tour begins as soon as you step out of your hotel. You’ll be greeted by our Certified Interpretive Guide and welcomed aboard a Pink Adventure Tour Trekker vehicle that features leather captain’s chairs, ample legroom and giant windows for non-stop views. On the road, you’ll see the Mojave’s Joshua Trees—a plant that can only be found in this part of the world. Lake Mead, the world’s largest reservoir, shimmers in the distance.
Soon, you’ll arrive at the Grand Canyon. Even if you’ve visited this natural wonder before, you’ve never seen it like this. Buckle up and descend 4,000 feet in a luxury helicopter. As soon as you touch down next to the Colorado River, capture rare photos of the vibrant water and rock from below the rim.
Now for your next adventure—a short cruise down the river on a power pontoon. This isn’t your typical leisurely float, but a fun and fast-paced ride. The guides are experienced outdoorspeople who know every inch of the river and canyon, and they’ll share countless fascinating facts while you skim over the water.
After your ascent back to the rim, your guide will show you mesmerizing views at Guano Point. You’ll spy evidence of the area’s mining history, including remnants of the cable tramway. Be sure to capture the remarkable panoramic views, or have your guide help you get that perfect shot. At Guano Point, enjoy a barbecue lunch and take in more views. Your guide will explain why this place is important to the Hualapai tribe as you eat.
Continue on to enjoy otherworldly views at the Skywalk. An optional upgrade of $25, this attraction allows you to walk on a glass platform that extends 70 feet past the rock rim. Some may tiptoe while others confidently venture out to the edge of the horseshoe, but no one will forget the experience.
Next, visit a Hualapai village to see traditional dwellings, where you may get a chance to see cultural dances and storytelling performances by tribe members. You’ll learn about the tribe’s beliefs in their sacred homeland and stories of their people’s origins. Stop into the trading post to browse gifts, handcrafted souvenirs, art and sundries.
On the return trip, you’ll stop for a quick photo op on the Arizona side of the Hoover Dam. Pose for photos and capture the incredible landscape. Your guide will share facts about the history and operations of this engineering marvel.
To make the most of this exclusive experience, we have all the details covered, including a barbecue lunch with vegetarian options, bottled water, helicopter and boat rides and parking and admissions fees.
